What we do
All aspects of traditional roofing, on homes, new-build plots and commercial sites. Here's the work we do.
Full re-roofs
Whole roofs stripped and re-roofed, from the first quote to the last ridge. We organise the scaffolding, the skip and the roofing materials, so there's one firm to deal with from start to finish.
Stone slate roofs
Traditional stone slate roofs taken up and relaid, with the stone replaced where it's needed. Whole stone slate roofs replaced too.
Blue slate re-roofs
Blue slate re-roofs, like the one we've just finished in Emley.
Timbers, re-lining and battens
Complete roof strips with the timbers replaced, the roof re-lined and new battens laid before the slates go back on.
Velux windows
Old, leaking Velux windows taken out and replaced with new ones, and new roof windows fitted as part of a re-roof.
Chimneys
Chimneys repointed as part of a complete roof strip.
Leadwork
Leadwork on dormers, including slated dormer cheeks replaced with lead.
Low pitch and new-build roofs
Roofs for new-build plots, and low pitch roofs using the Armoured Stone system from Truestone Natural Stone Roofing.

Danny and the team
We're a Holmfirth based firm, established in 2014, covering all aspects of traditional roofing. DW Roofing Yorkshire became a limited company in 2017, and you deal with Danny from the first quote to the finished roof.
That means one person to talk to: someone who answers your emails and explains what the roof needs at each stage. We arrive when we say we will, keep the site clean and tidy, and sort the scaffolding, skip and materials so you don't have to.
We work on homes and on commercial sites. Turners Self Storage has had us back for several jobs.
